Regency®

Who are We?

Founded in 1979 just outside Vancouver, Canada, Regency Fireplace Products has grown into one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers, and marketers of hearth products.

Today, with more than 400 employees and over 2,000 retail partners, Regency supplies premium fireplace products across North America, Europe, Japan, China, and Australia. What began as a regional manufacturer has evolved into a global brand built on long-term relationships, disciplined manufacturing, and continuous innovation.

We are committed to four core principles: Service, Quality, Reliability, and Innovation. Every product we design reflects those values, delivering comfort, efficiency, and enduring performance. Our confidence is backed by industry-leading warranties and a reputation built over more than four decades.

Regency is proud to be part of the NIBE Group, a global organization focused on energy efficiency and climate-conscious solutions. Within NIBE’s three business areas - Climate Solutions, Element, and Stoves. Regency plays a key role as one of North America’s largest hearth manufacturers. Together, we contribute to improved energy utilization and a lower environmental footprint worldwide.

How do We Accomplish our Goals?

From the beginning, our vision has been clear: create the finest fireplace products in the world.

To support growing global demand, our manufacturing facilities — spanning more than 240,000 square feet — are continuously upgraded with advanced equipment, precision tooling, and robotic technologies. Investment in automation and manufacturing excellence ensures consistent quality while maintaining the flexibility to respond to changing markets.

Regency operates under internationally recognized management systems, including:

  • ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management
  • ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management

These certifications reinforce our commitment to disciplined processes, measurable performance standards, and continuous improvement across the organization.

The EXCITE Program

Inspired by Lean Manufacturing principles, Regency developed its own continuous improvement program: EXCITE - Exercising Continuous Improvement Towards Excellence.

EXCITE drives operational discipline throughout the company by:

  • Streamlining production workflows
  • Reducing waste and inefficiencies
  • Enhancing quality control
  • Empowering employees to improve processes

Every fireplace is inspected before shipment. Quality is not a department, it is embedded at every stage of production.

RAPID Product Development

Innovation at Regency is disciplined.

Our RAPID Development Process was created to streamline product development while carefully balancing four critical priorities: safety, speed to market, quality, and manufacturability.

Bringing a hearth product to market is complex. It requires engineering precision, emissions compliance, safety certification, supply chain coordination, and production readiness, all without compromising performance or reliability. RAPID provides the structured framework that aligns these moving parts from concept through launch.

Through cross-functional collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, operations, and sales, RAPID ensures that every new product:

  • Meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards
  • Is designed for efficient, scalable manufacturing
  • Achieves targeted performance and emissions benchmarks
  • Maintains Regency’s quality expectations
  • Reaches market at the right time

Rather than rushing innovation, RAPID removes inefficiencies. It reduces rework, shortens development cycles, and ensures decisions are made with full visibility into long-term production and service implications.

How we Design our Products

Innovation is central to who we are.

Our in-house team of more than 30 designers and engineers utilizes advanced 3D CAD systems, certified testing laboratories, and modern prototyping technologies to develop products that meet evolving customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

We design with three priorities in mind:

  • Performance - maximizing heat output and combustion efficiency
  • Aesthetics - clean lines and design versatility for modern interiors
  • Compliance - meeting or exceeding emissions and safety standards in every market we serve

Our ability to respond quickly to regulatory changes ensures our retailers and homeowners remain confident in their investment for years to come.

How We Serve our Customers

Regency products are sold exclusively through a network of more than 2,000 authorized fireplace retailers. We believe specialized products deserve specialized expertise, which is why we support our dealer partners with training, technical resources, and responsive service.

To deliver consistent support, we operate five distribution centers across North America, backed by experienced technical and customer service teams. This infrastructure allows us to provide reliable product availability, fast parts fulfillment, and knowledgeable after-sales assistance.

Our model reflects a long-term commitment to partnership - with retailers, installers, and homeowners alike.

Kuma

Kuma Stoves Has been manufacturing American made Wood Stoves since 1981 and Oil stoves since 1999. Our company supplies products to dealers and customers across the U.S. Kuma Stoves is proud to say that every product we manufacture is made in the USA and we are committed to sourcing our materials from U.S. Suppliers.

Kuma Stoves was founded in 1981 when Mark Freeman, now president of the company, built the first Kuma Stove on the tailgate of his chevrolet pick up truck. To this day, Kuma Stoves continues to be primarily a family operation.  The first several Kuma Stoves were custom built for family members, but the demand soon grew into a full time job. The Sequoia model with the exception of a few changes and EPA certification is the original Kuma Stove. Back then, everything was hand made including the door. Not much has changed in the way that Kuma Stoves manufactures it's products and although Kuma Stoves is a relatively small company, we continue to be on the cutting edge of technology and design. Kuma stoves led the way with outside air capable and manufactured home approved oil stoves.  Our wood stoves continue to be some of the cleanest burning in the industry, passing the latest 2020 EPA standards. All of our products are laser-cut and handcrafted by each fabricator start to finish - no assembly lines here.

Pacific Energy

For over 40 years, our mission has been to design and develop clean burning, efficient wood and gas fueled heating solutions. We are relentless innovators, challenging conventions and overturning traditional heating assumptions – resulting in many of our inventions becoming industry standards throughout North America. Our dedicated team of engineers and craftspeople continuously improve our line-up of long-burning, environmentally-responsible wood stoves, inserts and fireplaces – and beautifully designed energy-efficient gas fireplaces. We are proud of what we do, and it shows.

Each Pacific Energy product is built with care and craft. Based in the Pacific Northwest, the region’s long, proud heritage of wood heating is naturally ingrained in what we do. We manufacture all of our products locally using the highest quality North American components whenever possible. Our experience has proven that building our premium products requires the quality and long-term reliability that only comes from trusted suppliers and the highest quality materials.

We maintain a full-time, non-seasonal staff of highly trained and experienced craftspeople—in fact, Pacific Energy employees have an average of 18 years of work experience with the company. It’s this experience that ensures uncompromised quality and consistency, from component parts through manufacture, to give us the confidence to back our products with a lifetime warranty.

We are justifiably proud of our decades of leadership. Pacific Energy’s home heating systems combine reliability, efficiency and beauty – and provide homes around the world unmatched comfort, operation and warmth.

We are committed to listening to our customers and working with our dealers to improve choices in options and features so that more homes can experience the pleasure of a reliable, energy-efficient heat source.

Our success is a direct result of our dedication to quality, customer service, and ongoing innovation. We are committed to remaining a leader in our field, and continuing to earn our customers’ trust.

Our Testimonials

Today, May 1st, 2025, I had Creekside come out to refresh my gas fireplace we had them install five years ago. #1. My fireplace has been a quality since day one, it has worked and been used every day for five years. #2. Having a quality crew to service your product is just as important. Today, Randy and Caden came to my property, on time, in uniform. They were polite and well-trained. Now I have a well-restored Craftsman home with expensive furnishings over 100 years old, and I have spared no expense in its restoration; over 100k has been put into this project. Randy and Caden immediately put down a drop cloth and was careful in every way as they tore down the fireplace, well equipped with all the extras my fireplace needed today, since what was suppose to be a simple refresh turned into a more major replacement of parts, they had everything needed on their truck and both worked together diligently to replace and repair and rebuild my fireplace. Total professional at all times, these are the kind of service guys you would be comfortable with in your home. I respect Creekside for the way they run their company as an example of the people they have working for them. Thank you, Randy, Caden, and Creekside Hearth Patio and BBQ!

I recently got a new wood stove installed from Creekside. The buying process with Walt was a great experience, very knowledgeable and experienced nice guy. After the initial quote Mike the owner came out to my place, to look at my situation, to make sure that everything will fit as intended. Very nice guy, too. Due to an upcoming business trip I had to adjust the the planed installation. Walt worked with me to get everything adjusted and made sure that it worked according to my schedule. The installation team with Randy, Robert and Ken did an amazing job. They took care that everything was protected and perfectly cleaned up after they finished installation. They walked me thru the whole process of curing the paint on my new stove and how to operate my new wood stove most efficiently. I got a KUMA ASPEN wood stove. Did a 5 hour slow burn and curing of the paint yesterday right after they left. Today I started me fist real fire. I filled it up about half of it's capacity, now after 7 hours it's still as hot that I can't leave my hand on it. Summarizing my experience, I just can recommend to get with them if you are on the market for a new wood stove.

Iknow this is long but bear with me...We bought a home last November 23 and hired maybe 5 different chimney companies for inspections. Cost about 1500. Unfortunately didn't know about these guys then. We hired one of the 5 and several thousand later had more damage than what we started with and were told a wood stove "couldn't be reinstalled" and we're sick with a hole in the chimney and more damage to the chimney. Hired Mike and his family and crew, explained the situation and just wanted an out side professional opinion. They came out within days and documented everything for us and lots and behold a wood stove was magically possible again. Mike came in on a weekend they weren't open to public to talk to us and help us pick out the best wood stove for our home. The ladies in the office were super sweet and accommodating and answer any questions we had without sounding irritated same with Mike and his wife who contacted us on their personal cells numerous times. They then created a time line and made it happen no matter what issues they encountered. After install was done Mike and his guys all went over thoroughly EVERYTHING with the new stove and told us to call with any questions. Hands down best experience I've ever had with not only a chimney and fire place install company but I can't say I've ever experienced this amazing level of service. If there is ever a question, chose Mike and his family and crew at Creekside!
