My fireplace has been a quality since day one, it has worked and been used every day for five years. #2. Having a quality crew to service your product is just as important. Today, Randy and Caden came to my property, on time, in uniform. They were polite and well-trained. Now I have a well-restored Craftsman home with expensive furnishings over 100 years old, and I have spared no expense in its restoration; over 100k has been put into this project. Randy and Caden immediately put down a drop cloth and was careful in every way as they tore down the fireplace, well equipped with all the extras my fireplace needed today, since what was suppose to be a simple refresh turned into a more major replacement of parts, they had everything needed on their truck and both worked together diligently to replace and repair and rebuild my fireplace. Total professional at all times, these are the kind of service guys you would be comfortable with in your home. I respect Creekside for the way they run their company as an example of the people they have working for them. Thank you, Randy, Caden, and Creekside Hearth Patio and BBQ! Steven Redman I recently got a new wood stove installed from Creekside. The buying process with Walt was a great experience, very knowledgeable and experienced nice guy. After the initial quote Mike the owner came out to my place, to look at my situation, to make sure that everything will fit as intended. Very nice guy, too. Due to an upcoming business trip I had to adjust the the planed installation. Walt worked with me to get everything adjusted and made sure that it worked according to my schedule. The installation team with Randy, Robert and Ken did an amazing job. They took care that everything was protected and perfectly cleaned up after they finished installation. They walked me thru the whole process of curing the paint on my new stove and how to operate my new wood stove most efficiently. I got a KUMA ASPEN wood stove. Did a 5 hour slow burn and curing of the paint yesterday right after they left. Today I started me fist real fire. I filled it up about half of it's capacity, now after 7 hours it's still as hot that I can't leave my hand on it. Summarizing my experience, I just can recommend to get with them if you are on the market for a new wood stove. Georg Bachmayer Iknow this is long but bear with me...We bought a home last November 23 and hired maybe 5 different chimney companies for inspections. Cost about 1500. Unfortunately didn't know about these guys then. We hired one of the 5 and several thousand later had more damage than what we started with and were told a wood stove "couldn't be reinstalled" and we're sick with a hole in the chimney and more damage to the chimney. Hired Mike and his family and crew, explained the situation and just wanted an out side professional opinion. They came out within days and documented everything for us and lots and behold a wood stove was magically possible again. Mike came in on a weekend they weren't open to public to talk to us and help us pick out the best wood stove for our home. The ladies in the office were super sweet and accommodating and answer any questions we had without sounding irritated same with Mike and his wife who contacted us on their personal cells numerous times. They then created a time line and made it happen no matter what issues they encountered. After install was done Mike and his guys all went over thoroughly EVERYTHING with the new stove and told us to call with any questions. Hands down best experience I've ever had with not only a chimney and fire place install company but I can't say I've ever experienced this amazing level of service. If there is ever a question, chose Mike and his family and crew at Creekside! Melissa Nowak Fast, friendly, professional service. They make you feel your business is important and you are part of the Creekside Family. Doing business with them for several years! Pat Raby Incredibly responsive, prompt and professional. One of the best experiences we have had so far. You won’t find better customer service or more knowledgeable staff. Heather Oliveira Walt was a great help took a his time to explain everything Paul Kortas DescriptionQuality is guaranteed with every feature of the Hipster® 20 Wood Stove. The innovative TruHybrid® combustion system provides more heat from less wood. This wood burning stove complies with all current EPA requirements and is approved to be sold across the USA and Canada. The Hipster® 20 is one of the few wood burning stoves that qualifies for the US 25-C Tax Credit. It boasts a HHV efficiency of 79% with emissions of only 0.6 gram/hour! The constant and steady heat from the Hipster® 20 is smoothly delivered without the peaks and valleys felt from a steel stove. This is due to the combination of cast iron and soapstone, both well known for the ability to absorb and slowly radiate heat for hours. In fact, burn times can be as high as 24 hours on a single load of wood! The Hipster® 20 firebox will take up to an 18” log. And, the ceramic glass stays remarkably clean thanks to the air-wash process. The stove is also backed up by an impressive limited lifetime warranty. Manufacturer InfoHIGHLIGHTSSoapstone Lining - Soapstone has no equal for heat management. It’s the best material for storing and slowly radiating heat. In fact, soapstone absorbs 15% more heat and radiates heat 5 times better than firebrick! This soapstone lining in the stove is also attractive and charming to look at, especially during those times of the year when there is no fire burning.Outstanding Efficiency - The Hipster® Series is providing you with extremely efficient wood burning stoves. The Hipster® 14 and 20 have an optimal efficiency of 82% and extremely low emissions that are well below the EPA 2020 requirements. Quality materials and the TruHybrid® combustion technology combine for the most efficient stoves on the market. Ask your dealer to see the Certification of Efficiency or inspect the EPA test results for the Hipster® stoves. You’ll be impressed!TruHybrid Technology - This combustion strategy uses primary and secondary combustion along with a third (tertiary) combustion technique that uses a catalyst to achieve an exceptionally clean burn. Watch the fire through the glass and see the primary and secondary combustion at work. The primary combustion is the burning of the wood. Secondary combustion actually occurs above the wood and burns the smoke and other by-products the fire gives off. The tertiary combustion stage takes place in the catalyst and burns any gases or dust particles that may remain, before the insignificant amount that’s left goes up the chimney.Exceptional Burn Time - Ingenious conception and quality materials such as cast iron and soapstone allow for the unit to burn a single load of wood for up to 16 hours on the Hipster® 14 and up to 24 hours on the Hipster® 20. The Hipster® 14 weighs 350 lbs. (159 kg), is rated at 40,000 BTU/hour and will heat up to 1400 square feet. The Hipster® 20 weighs 494 lbs. (269 kg), is rated at 60,000 BTU/hour and will heat up to 2000 square feet.OverviewCrystal clear tall glass.TruHybrid burn technology.Soapstone lining inside for a beautiful even heat output.Premium quality cast iron made in Europe.Made in Vermont, USA.Extra long burn times : up to 16 hours on the Hipster® 14 and up to 24 hours on the Hipster® 20.Mobile Home Approved.SPECIFICATIONSPowerCordwood60,000 BTUEPA33,576 BTUBurn TimeUp to 24 hoursEfficienciesG/HR0.6 g/hrOptimal %82%HHV79%DimensionsOverall26 3⁄4" W x 22 1⁄8" D x 31 5⁄8" HDistance to CombustiblesSee Technical DrawingsCeramic Glass17 11⁄16" W x 12 3⁄8" H (219 sq. in.)VentingTYPEClass ADiameter6"Min.
