Delene joined Creekside Hearth in 2013 after spending several years in the food industry. She is responsible for scheduling all service and installations that Creekside performs. In addition to scheduling, her love for grilling makes her the natural choice to head up our Grill Sales Department. She currently owns more than 7 different grills and smokers and makes a lot of her own sauces and marinades.

Randy came to Creekside Hearth in 2022. He returned to Michigan after retiring from the US Navy, where he was commissioned on a nuclear submarine. Prior to his return, he worked for Home Depot as a Front End Manager. He joined Creekside as a Service and Installation Technician. Currently, he serves as the Lead Technician, working with the other techs to make sure jobs are completed correctly and customers are being taken care of.

Janet joined Creekside Hearth in 2015 after spending years in the Grocery Industry in Customer Service and Receiving. During her 10 years at Creekside, she has overseen the Receiving Department and assisted with invoicing and Sales support. Today, Janet is in charge of our Customer Care Program, ensuring each customer has a positive experience with us and quickly writing up service orders when the need arises.

Chauncey joined Creekside Hearth in 2023 after spending years in the automotive industry in Shipping and Receiving. Before he was a Creekside employee, he was a customer—having purchased an outdoor wood system from us, which he still uses today. He currently oversees the receiving of goods and parts and manages customer orders to make sure everything is received correctly. In addition, he organizes our warehouse and also assists in Sales.

Bethany joined Creekside Hearth in 2014 as an assistant to the owners in Accounts Payable. She served several years in the Armed Forces and Criminal Justice System before joining Creekside. Her commitment to detail has allowed her to expand into leading our Warranty and Human Resource Departments. Bethany also manages Creekside Hearth’s computer and software systems.

Ken just joined Creekside Hearth in 2024 after spending several years working for shops in the area and looking to find a company where he could make a future. Ken’s attitude is awesome as there isn’t a job that he won’t do with a smile. He enjoys coming to work and is always eager to help, no matter what. We are looking for good things from Ken as he gains experience in our industry.

Walt joined Creekside Hearth in 2008 as an Installation and Service Technician. Prior to joining the staff, Walt and his son were customers of Creekside. After several years in the field, he was promoted to Sales. Today, Walt leads our inside Sales and Customer Service Departments. His knowledge of installations and service makes him very well suited for this position. In addition to Sales and Customer Service, he also works closely with our suppliers to make sure we are receiving the best product at the best value for our customers.

Joe is celebrating 10 years with us this year. He works a couple days a week helping our Receiving Department and maintaining the building’s cleanliness. Joe is always ready with a kind word and a smile and is a great example that Creekside is all about “Caring for People.”

Andrea joined Creekside Hearth in 2021 after working in a secretarial position. Her attention to detail and organization is awesome. She leads our Customer Service team by answering phones and managing our texting program for direct communication with our customers. She also inputs estimates and work orders and oversees our Chimney Sweep and Gas Refresh programs.

Mike and Marilyn started Creekside Hearth in 2000. They have been involved in retail businesses, both as owners and employees, for most of their adult lives before starting Creekside. What began in the garage of their home as a side business has turned into a 10,000+ square foot showroom with 14 employees, and they are still growing. Marilyn runs the retail portion of the business by managing the showroom and sales staff. Mike spends most of his time in the field with the service technicians, servicing, installing, estimating, and sweeping chimneys. Mike and Marilyn believe that you are only as good as your employees, and we believe we have some of the best employees in the industry. WE ARE BLESSED.

Delaney came to work for Creekside in 2026. She is our marketing specialist and is being trained on our sales staff. She has a Bachelors in marketing and psychology from Marshall University and a Masters in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
